Now Hiring: Property Manager
Location: Local Apartment Complex | Port Arthur, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Must be flexible for occasional weekends or after-hours needs)
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Summary
A local apartment complex in the Port Arthur area is seeking a reliable and professional Property Manager to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right person who demonstrates leadership, organization, and strong tenant relations skills.
Responsibilities include:

Managing apartment rentals, move-ins, and renewals

Presenting available units to potential residents
-
Assisting current residents with inquiries, maintenance requests, and general needs

Accepting and recording payments, issuing receipts, and preparing daily deposits
-
Completing general clerical and administrative duties within the office

Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
Excellent customer service and communication skills
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn industry software (YARDI)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Minimum 2 years of experience in the property management industry or similar environment

HUD and Tax Credit experience is REQUIRED

Dress Code: Business casual, appropriate for a professional office setting
Work Environment: On-site office setting with regular interaction with residents and staff
