Part-Time Office Assistant – Service Company (Mid County Area)

Type: Temporary | Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (with flexibility for additional hours as needed)
Pay Rate: $12.00–$13.00 per hour, DOE

Position Summary:

A local service company in the Mid County area is seeking a Part-Time Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations. This is a temporary position, and the duration of the assignment is undetermined at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls and schedule appointments

  • Send and respond to email correspondence

  • Provide coverage for other departments during lunch breaks or absences

  • Answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors in a professional, friendly manner

Requirements:

  • Basic computer and typing/data entry skills required

  • Prior clerical or office experience is preferred, but not required — the client is willing to train the right candidate

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Positive, upbeat attitude and ability to work well as part of a team

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
