MECHANIC/SHOP HAND
Large industrial company in the Port Arthur area seeking a Shop/Mechanic Helper. This is a possible temp to hire position for the right person.
Job duties will include but are not limited to conducting basic inspections of vehicles in order to determine condition of vehicle and/or identifying any potential problems; grease, oil, and filter changes, maintaining equipment by completing preventative maintenance schedules; maintaining vehicle records by noting services and/or repairs; maintaining supplies needed in order to perform task; any
other job duties as assigned.
Interested candidates must have basic engine knowledge as well as valid Drivers License with willingness to learn advanced auto mechanics. Experience with heavy truck and equipment maintenance and repair a plus!
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm.
Pay: $15-17 per hour DOE.
