MACHINE SHOP HELPER
Production company in the Beaumont area seeking a helper for their Machine Shop. This position does work a rotating shift must be comfortable working days/nights as well as weekends.
Job duties will include assisting operator in all aspects of production; operate a forklift to load and unload material; confirm serial numbers from production order and assist operator in assuring proper connection is machined on each joint; actively involved in improving production performance product quality, and safety; maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment; any other duties as defined by manager. Will also be responsible for maintaining and promoting a safe working environment in accordance with the company policies and procedures as well as learning and knowing the company quality program.
Interested candidates must have previously worked in the same or similar position, prompt reliable attendance, the desire to learn this position as well as the company policies and procedures, be willing to work overtime as needed.
Must pass a background check and Drug Screen, Must have steel toed boots, hard hat and valid ID/Drivers license. High school Diploma or GED required.
