Now Hiring: Head Custodian – Full-Time

Location: Bridge City, TX
Pay Rate: $11.75 – $18.18 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary

A reputable service company in Bridge City is currently seeking a Head Custodian to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire position offering full-time hours, growth opportunity, and leadership responsibility within a dedicated custodial team.

Key Responsibilities

Assign and oversee daily duties of custodial/janitorial staff
Clean and maintain offices, conference rooms, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas
Perform floor care: vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, waxing, and buffing
Dust surfaces, clean windows, and empty trash receptacles
Set up and arrange tables/chairs for daily use and special events
Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and submit restock requests
Perform minor maintenance tasks: change light bulbs, filters, report damages
Lock and secure facility entrances/exits
Assist with basic groundskeeping (trash pickup, weed eating, etc.)
Other duties as assigned by onsite supervisor

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a custodial leadership role
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability
Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Dress Code

Jeans or work pants
Solid-colored shirts (polo/plain T-shirt)
Closed-toe shoes
Spirit shirts allowed on Tuesdays and Fridays
