FAMILY SERVICES COUNSELOR
Family Services Counselor needed for a cemetery in the Mid County/Port Arthur area. Hours will be Monday through Friday 9a-4p and Saturdays are required for services but hours will vary based on scheduled services. When possible Mondays are given off. This position is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate.
The job duties of this position will include greeting incoming guests and meeting with families to make service arrangements. The candidate will also be responsible for the sale of headstones and various office work including answering phones, handling and organizing paperwork, locating files, filing, copying, etc. Will also be responsible for general housekeeping of the office and the sitting area (trash take-out, vacuuming, dusting, etc.).
Interested candidates must have a minimum of one year of previous clerical experience. Excellent customer service skills required. The candidate must be comfortable working with/around families visiting the facility and escorting them on the grounds as needed.
All interested candidates must have a clean background and pass a drug screen.
