FABRICATION HELPER
Fab Shop Helper needed for Fabrication shop in the Sulphur, LA area.
The main job duties of this position will be performing entry level fabrication, assembly, alterations, and repair of insulation products and equipment. Will be responsible to assist with gathering material required to perform work, setup and operation of equipment including plasma cutting tables; power sheers; rollers; punches, etc., and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Interested candidate needs to have a minimum of one-year previous experience working in a warehouse or fabrication environment and capability to read and comprehend tape measure as well as knowledge of the use of basic hand tools. Candidate must have a high attention to detail; accurately be able to follow direction and technical guidance as given; have ability to understand, communicate and follow safety requirements; have ability to lift up to 50lbs. maximum and be able to handle bulky boxes and material.
