FAB SHOP HELPER
Fab shop helper needed for an industrial company in the Beaumont area. The main responsibility of this position will be inspecting product for repairs in order to prepare the product for shipment.
Job duties include completing repairs as needed which mainly consist of using a grinder. Will also be responsible for relocating product throughout shop and cleaning of the product in order to prepare for shipment. Job duties will also include engaging in and assisting with all yard work and assisting co-workers in other departments as needed.
Interested candidate must have a minimum of 1 years previous experience operating a 4” or larger grinder.
Candidate must have a good understanding of basic math and writing skills and the ability to use simple measuring tools. Candidate must be dependable, be able to maintain regular attendance, and have reliable transportation. Candidate must be able to work within a shop environment and be able to lift/move products as needed. Candidate must be flexible to work various days/hours as availability to work rotating shift, weekends, and overtime is a requirement of this position.
