CHECK IN CLERK

Local Medical Office in Beaumont seeking a Check In Clerk. This is a fulltime, temp to hire opportunity for the right person.

Primary job duties will include checking in each patient upon arrival, accepting and processing insurance information, updating patient demographic information and ensuring accuracy. Will also be responsible for answering phones, routing calls and taking messages. All staff are required to follow and maintain all HIPPA requirements and confidentiality standards.

This position requires you have close attention to detail, impeccable phone etiquette, and working knowledge of common medical terminology. The ideal candidate has prior receptionist experience preferably in a medical setting with a heavy patient intake, coupled with superb data entry and communication skills. Must have 2 years working experience in the medical field and a high school diploma or GED certificate. Medical office Certification and Bilingualism (English/Spanish) is a plus!
