Position: Cabinetry Draftsperson
Location: Mid County, TX
Pay: Starting at $20/hr (DOE – higher based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
A local custom cabinetry company in Mid County is seeking a Cabinetry Draftsperson to join their team. This position focuses on cabinetry design and drafting for new residential builds primarily within the Houston market and surrounding areas.
Each project is assigned individually and includes a detailed project packet containing all necessary information to produce the requested client designs.
Key Responsibilities

Produce cabinetry designs using industry-specific software (Cabinet Vision preferred)

Interpret project packets, plans, and specifications

Prepare accurate and detailed drafting layouts

Ensure designs meet client expectations and project timelines

Communicate effectively with team members and customers as needed
Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of cabinetry drafting experience preferred (5 years strongly preferred)

Experience using Cabinet Vision or similar cabinetry drafting software required

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Good customer service skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Client is open to considering candidates with less experience if they demonstrate strong potential and willingness to grow with the company.
