Corporate Office in Beaumont seeking an Assistant Bookkeeper. This is a fulltime position and has potential to be temp to hire for the right person.
Job duties will include assisting the Bookkeeper by maintaining organization and communications within the department. Will be responsible for updating records, and ensuring accuracy of reports, scanning, and filing of all documents and records (physical and electronic), and ordering office supplies.
Interested candidates need to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an office setting with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting. Must have experience working with Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks. Previous experience with 940/941 tax reporting and unemployment Tax reporting is preferred. Must be organized, detail oriented and work well as a team player.
Valid driver’s license and transportation is required. Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
