Local Industrial company in the Port Arthur area is seeking a Bookkeeper. This is a great long-term opportunity for the right person!
Job duties will include but are not limited to accounts payable and receivable, inputting payroll, job costing, monthly sales tax, and journal entries Job duties will also consist of keeping five bank accounts up to date and reconciling the bank accounts and general ledger.
The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter who can work well in a fast-paced environment, must have a minimum of 5-years of accounting experience. Word, Excel and QuickBooks knowledge is required. Must be able to multitask, be a fast learner, and dependable.
