BILLING ASSISTANT

Now Hiring: Billing Assistant

Location: Port Arthur, TX
Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $16 – $18/hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary
An established environmental company in Port Arthur is seeking a Billing Assistant for a possible temp-to-hire opportunity. This role will provide administrative support with billing, invoicing, and clerical tasks, while also assisting in the dispatch department as needed. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scan paperwork into shared drive and maintain accurate records

  • Assist with invoice submissions and match backup documentation

  • Process purchase orders and office supply orders

  • Track and document transfer center records

  • Provide coverage for dispatch department during lunches and vacations

  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of clerical/office experience preferred

  • Proficiency with data entry and computer skills

  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Schedule
Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Dress Code

  • Business casual attire

  • Jeans permitted (no holes)

  • Dress shirts/tops (no spaghetti straps or sleeveless)

  • Casual shoes (no tennis shoes)
