Location: Port Arthur, TX
Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $16 – $18/hour (Based on Experience)
Position Summary
An established environmental company in Port Arthur is seeking a Billing Assistant for a possible temp-to-hire opportunity. This role will provide administrative support with billing, invoicing, and clerical tasks, while also assisting in the dispatch department as needed. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Scan paperwork into shared drive and maintain accurate records
Assist with invoice submissions and match backup documentation
Process purchase orders and office supply orders
Track and document transfer center records
Provide coverage for dispatch department during lunches and vacations
Other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
1–2 years of clerical/office experience preferred
Proficiency with data entry and computer skills
Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Schedule
Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Dress Code
Business casual attire
Jeans permitted (no holes)
Dress shirts/tops (no spaghetti straps or sleeveless)
Casual shoes (no tennis shoes)
