SMALL ENGINE MECHANIC (Golf Cart, ATV, Boat)
Local shop seeking an experienced Small Engine Mechanic with experience with Golf Carts, ATV’s, Boats and other small engines as well as installs of lift kits, off road accesories and aftermarket tires/rims, etc.
Job duties will include but are not limited to diagnose, adjust, repair, and/or overhaul small engines including both gas and electric. Employee will be responsible for dismantling engines in order to examine parts for defect; test and inspect engines to determine malfunctions, to locate missing and/or broken parts, and to verify repairs; perform routine maintenance (including cleaning and oiling parts); reassemble engines after repair and/or maintenance is complete; any other work as assigned by supervisor. Experience with installations of lift kits, and offroad accesories is preferred, howeevr company may be willing to train the right candidate.
Interested candidates must have a minimum of 1 year previous experience with small engine repair and maintenance, preferably with golf carts. Candidate must have own tools. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
This is a temporary to hire position for the right person.
