DRAFTER
Construction company in the Beaumont area currently seeking a full time Drafter to join their team!
The main job duties of this position will include drawing rough to detailed scaled plans for foundations and buildings based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, and specification sheets. Will also plan and lay out interior room arrangements for residential homes using AutoCAD and additional drafting software. Will modify exiting floor plans to meet needs of end user and site selected for project and create drawings that follow building codes, specifications, and engineering systems.
Interested candidate must have previous experience with AutoCAD and Revit. Candidate must have ability to organize multiple projects simultaneously, be a self starter and fast learner as well have critical thinking and problem solving. Must be able to prioritizes and organized own work to meet agreed deadlines, have ability to work independently and in a fast paced, ever changing environment. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with team members and outside professionals while proactively communicating with the Project Manager to obtain needed information to continue progress on plans.
