DRAFTSMAN – Mid County
Local Cabinetry Company in Mid County seeking a Draftsman for a temp to hire opportunity for the right person.
This position requires experience in cabinet drafting and the ability to use Industry specific software such as Cabinet Vision, etc. The primary focus is cabinetry design and supply for New Residential Builds within the Houston Market and surrounding areas.
Must be comfortable working independently and with little to no supervision. Each project will be assigned to the Draftsmen and the project packet will include all the necessary information needed to produce the designs requested by the client/customer. Any additional information needed can be obtained by communicating with In-House Staff and as the position progresses it will lead to the implementation of client and builder communication regarding each custom design and/or build.
The client would prefer a minimum of 5 years of cabinetry design and drafting experience but willing to consider someone with less experience and the ability to learn and grow with the company. An associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree is preferred but all experienced candidates will be considered.
This position is a temp to hire and once hired on does offer benefits such as medical and opportunities for advancement. Pay for this position will be based on experience and skill.
