Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

A local apartment complex in Port Arthur is seeking a Leasing/Office Assistant to support daily office operations and provide assistance to residents and prospective tenants. This position offers a full-time schedule, professional work environment, and the opportunity for permanent placement with the company.
Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to tenants and prospective residents
Conduct property tours and show available units
Record and maintain tenant and prospect information in the database
Process lease applications, verify application details, and collect rent payments and security deposits
Prepare and submit maintenance requests and work orders
Assist with advertising and marketing of available properties
Address tenant questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
Provide general office support as needed
Minimum of two (2) years of prior experience in a similar role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Dependable and detail-oriented with a professional demeanor
Valid driver’s license required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Knowledge of property management practices is preferred but not required
