Location: Port Arthur, TX
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

A local apartment complex in Port Arthur is seeking a Leasing/Office Assistant to support daily office operations and provide assistance to residents and prospective tenants. This position offers a full-time schedule, professional work environment, and the opportunity for permanent placement with the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to tenants and prospective residents

  • Conduct property tours and show available units

  • Record and maintain tenant and prospect information in the database

  • Process lease applications, verify application details, and collect rent payments and security deposits

  • Prepare and submit maintenance requests and work orders

  • Assist with advertising and marketing of available properties

  • Address tenant questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner

  • Provide general office support as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of prior experience in a similar role

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

  • Dependable and detail-oriented with a professional demeanor

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

  • Knowledge of property management practices is preferred but not required
