RAIL OPERATOR/LABORER
Local Industrial company in Mid County seeking a rail operator/laborer. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right person!
Job duties will include the safe loading and unloading of rail cars, hooking up and disconnecting hoses, opening/closing valves, site safety, cleaning and following all chemical safety procedures for transfer of all materials and chemicals. Making daily rounds, inspecting equipment and transfer materials, providing support to Rail Crew Supervisor and Process Operators. May be assigned additional duties based on client needs.
Interested candidates must be physically able to meet the demands of the position and work in the outside elements with no restrictions. Must be able to lift 50lbs unrestricted, climb stairs and ladderways to the top of the railcars.
Must have 1-2 years of previous industrial experience. A valid driver’s license and transportation is required. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required as well.
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 5am to 1pm daily but must be available to work 12-hour shifts including weekends as needed.
PAY: $18-20 per hour
DRESSCODE: Proper PPE, including FRC’s, steel toed boots and hard hat.
