Office Assistant (Temporary) – Beaumont, TX
A local industrial company in Beaumont is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant for a temporary assignment expected to last 8–12 weeks, with the potential to extend. This position is ideal for someone who can step in quickly and confidently manage day-to-day administrative tasks.
Position Details
- Location: Beaumont, TX
- Duration: Temporary (8–12 weeks, possible extension)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Flexible between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- OR 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay: $13–$14/hour DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage invoicing and basic accounting tasks using QuickBooks (online)
- Assist with bank deposits
- Handle mail and package distribution throughout the facility
- Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital)
- Monitor and respond to email communications
- Scan and upload documents as needed
- Provide general administrative support to office staff
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an office or administrative role
- QuickBooks Online experience is required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills (phone and email)
- Reliable and able to start ASAP
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
