GENERAL LABORER -YARD HAND
Local Marine Company in the Mid County seeking general laborers/yard hands. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate!
Job duties will consist of all yard maintenance including moving material, painting, mowing and weed eating, picking up trash and debris, etc. Dock work, including tieng off ships/barges and assisting with loading and unloading cargo and additional duties as assigned. Will also be required to assist with duties in the shop as needed.
Candidates must be dependable, hardworking, and be able to perform physical work. Candidates must have a current TWIC card, PPE, and ISTC (ISTC is preferred but not required). Previous experience in the marine industry is a plus but not a must.
This position requires working up to 12-hour shifts, 4 days on/4 days. Schedule may include overnight shifts, working on-call as needed and overtime. Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Starting pay is between $10-12 per hour with no experience necessary.
Must have reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and current TWIC card (receipt is not acceptable).
