Inside Sales Representative

Location: Orange, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $37,000–$45,000 annually DOE
($17–$21/hr equivalent)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire (for the right candidate)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative for a growing building supply company in the Orange area. This role supports both office sales operations and shop/warehouse activities as needed.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers, understands building materials, and is comfortable working in a hands-on environment.

Previous building or construction-related experience is a plus.

Job Duties

Assist walk-in and phone customers with product inquiries and sales
Prepare quotes and process sales orders accurately
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Coordinate with shop/warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
Assist with loading customer materials when needed
Provide hands-on support in the shop as required
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

Previous inside sales or customer service experience preferred
Building or construction materials knowledge a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift and assist with loading materials
Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
Dependable with strong work ethic
