Location: Port Arthur, TX
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:

Monday – Thursday | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Friday | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Position Summary

A local Property Management Company in the Port Arthur area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician. This role requires strong technical skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently while supporting property upkeep and unit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance
Complete make-ready work including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
Replace appliances, fixtures, trim, door frames, and switch plates
Perform basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs
Troubleshoot and resolve tenant work orders
Assist with groundskeeping and general property maintenance
Participate in on-call rotation and work occasional overtime or weekends as needed

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience
Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
Must have own basic tools
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
