HEAD/LEAD CUSTODIANS
A service company in Bridge City is hiring full-time Head/Lead Custodians and Janitors for daytime and evening shifts. This position offers temp to hire opportunities!
The Head/Lead custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of a building or facility while maintaining routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain standard operations, safety and efficiency. Job duties will include assigning tasks to custodial & janitorial staff, maintaining the cleanliness of the offices, conference rooms, kitchen and restrooms etc., floor care (vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, waxing/buffing, etc.), dusting of areas, window cleaning, and removal of trash from the different areas. Additional duties will include setting up and arranging tables/chairs for special events and daily use, assisting with maintaining inventory of all cleaning supplies, equipment and making requests for replenishment as needed and groundskeeping (weed eating, picking up trash, etc.). May also perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, filters, open and closing of facility (locking doors, checking entrances/exits and securing facility, etc.) or reporting any damages. May have additional responsibilities and duties assigned by onsite Supervisor.
Interested candidates must have a minimum of 2 years past experience in a similar role and environment.
PAY: $11.75 – 15. 75 per hour DOE
SCHEDULE: Day & Evening positions available – 6am – 2:30pm, 2pm – 10:30pm
