Locally owned IT Firm seeking Cabling Technicians with previous experience with network and cable installations. Position will start off temporary but may have the opportunity to go permanent with the company for the right person.
The cabling technician is responsible for cabling and termination of audio, coaxial, and fiber cabling. The position includes the testing and troubleshooting of wiring problems. Installation of new cabling in new or existing buildings. Termination and testing of all installed cables both new and existing. Installation of equipment, such as computers, speakers, and camera systems.
Interested candidates must have great communication skills, flexibility to work in various work environments, be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed. Attention to detail, willingness to take direction and the ability to work as a team is required.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or equivalent job experience or certification in technology repair preferred but not required.
PAY: $20-25 per hour DOE
SCHEDULE: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, but may require working overtime. Must be flexible to report to an earlier shift and work later hours if needed, including some weekends.
Valid driver’s license is required.
